SpEd/EL Symposium - April 20 & 21 - Montrose

State wide data demonstrates an over/under identification of English learners and special education programs. Questions have surfaced from Colorado districts in regards to appropriate referrals, identifying and servicing of English learners with special needs.

In response to these questions, the Colorado Department of Education has developed a two day workshop to address appropriate assessments, assessment considerations, and interpretation of assessments specifically as they relate to English learners as part of each area.

Team registration is highly encouraged and limited to four staff members of varying roles within your school district. Thank you.
